MLK Days of Service
Livestream worship service honoring the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dubbed “A Day On, Not Off,” the diocese honors the legacy of Dr. King through worship, learning, and service. The diocese is making a special liturgy available to be used in churches and at home.

Guest speaker: Rupert A. Hall Jr. is the Servant Pastor of Turning Point United Methodist Church where he seeks to make the Gospels relevant in the Urban Context. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Rutgers University School of Law. He has studied at the New Brunswick Theological, Wesley Theological and the Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminaries. Prior to being a minister of the Gospel, Pastor Hall was a commercial banker and practiced real estate and banking law. He currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Kingsbury Towers an affordable and moderate income housing development in the City of Trenton and has served on the Board of Trustees and Church and Society of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and as Coordinator for the Conference Caucus of Black Methodists for Church Renewal. He and his wife of 41 years have three adult children and two grandsons.
